Catching My Breath

I managed to finish my last project three days ahead of schedule :weee: This summer has been SO hectic for me. I’ve had a ton to write plus I’ve been in out of the hospital every other week. Very frustrating. I’m starting to see the light though. I only have one more hospital visit (hopefully) and as soon as I finish my current story, I’ll have a lot of breathing room in which to complete my next one. I can’t wait.

The kids are going back to school next week. I swear they go back earlier every year. I don’t know the bright bulb is who keeps pushing up the start date, but hello? It’s south Texas in AUGUST. The kids can’t go out to play for most of the month because of fears of heat exhaustion. The air conditioner is usually shitty in the classrooms and when they do work, you have cold natured wimpy ass teachers who keep it turned way up and the kids are all ready to pass out.

I did most of their back to school shopping online because quite frankly, I haven’t had the fortitude to go battle the crowds. We still have to venture forth to get school supplies, but I’ve already determined that will be hubby’s job. I really don’t want to have a meltdown in the middle of Walmart.

I am so very very happy with my publishing schedule for 2007. It’s come together far better than I could have ever anticipated. And once I finish my current project, the BEST news is that I will have completed everything that is on the 2007 schedule. :cheer: Very exciting. No stressing about getting down to the wire with any of my projects.

Hey I resemble that cold-blooded remark. Not EVERYONE keeps their home thermometer set at 62!!!

My kids go back in a week and a half. Bring it on.

The decreased level of human growth hormone is the primary reason for stunted healing in elderly individuals.
